Mounted kits are not new. Riders have been paying someone else to apply graphics for years, and several companies do it well.
What has never been standard is anyone putting their name on the result.
The policy the category publishes
Read the fine print on mounted graphics and a version of the same sentence appears. No mount job is ever perfect, and there is no warranty on the mounting.
That is not a company being careless. It is an honest description of how the work usually goes. Vinyl on a compound curve is difficult, most shops apply it over unstripped plastic without primer, and edges lift. Rather than fix that, the category wrote a policy around it.
The rider is asked to accept it before he spends five hundred dollars.
Policy against policy
The usual policy: no warranty on the mount.
Ours: if the mount is not right on arrival, the affected panels are remade and reshipped free.
The usual policy: if something is wrong, ship it back.
Ours: you keep the originals. There is nothing to return and nothing to pack.
The usual policy: the preview is for reference and the final result may vary.
Ours: a proof goes out within one business day and nothing is built until you approve it.
The usual policy: cancellation fees once artwork begins.
Ours: cancel free any time before you approve the proof.
The usual policy: contact through a form.
Ours: one email address, read by the person who mounts the kits, answered within one business day.
Why we can write it that way
The guarantee is not a marketing decision. It is what the process makes possible.
Panels are stripped of mold-release agent before anything touches them. Primer goes down on bare plastic. The vinyl is 21 mil Substance. Every edge is post-heated to 176 degrees and measured. The kit cures a full day, then every panel is checked under a raking light before it is boxed.
A company that skips those steps cannot write our guarantee. The failures would arrive faster than the remakes could go out.
What we do not claim
We are not the first to mount graphics on plastics. Other companies were doing it before Preset existed and some of them do good work.
We could not find another one willing to write down what happens when the mount is wrong. That is the difference, and it is the only one we are claiming.
What it is not
This is a limited guarantee. It covers the mount, on arrival, for thirty days. It does not cover crash damage, pressure washing, or normal wear, and it is not money-back.
