Every factory bike has a guy whose whole job is making the plastics look right. He preps the panel, lays the vinyl, works the curves, and checks it under a light before anyone sees it. He is the reason the bike looks the way it does.

Most riders do not have that guy. They have a kitchen table, a spray bottle, and a set of graphics that cost real money. That is why so many good kits end up crooked at eleven at night, and why the rider looks at it every weekend after and sees the one edge that lifted.

Preset exists to be that guy.

We mount every kit in house.

The panels come from UFO in Italy, which is where most of the plastics on the starting line come from. They arrive with mold-release agent still on the surface, which is the thing most people never strip and the reason most edges lift. We strip it. Then primer goes down on the bare plastic, the vinyl goes on by hand, and every edge gets post-heated to 176 degrees and measured.

Then it sits. A full day of cure before it goes anywhere near a box.

Before it does, the team checks every panel under a raking light. Light held almost flat against the surface, the same way you would inspect paint. Flat light hides a lifted edge. Angled light makes it obvious. That is the point.

If it is not right, it does not ship.

At Preset we put the guarantee in writing because we could not find anyone else in this category who did. The usual policy is that no mount job is ever perfect and there is no warranty on it. That is a real sentence a rider is expected to accept before spending five hundred dollars.

Ours says the opposite. If the mount is not right when it arrives, we remake the affected panels and ship them free, and you keep the originals.

We can write that because we are the ones who mounted it. If one goes out wrong, it is our responsibility to fix it.
